Although
our family’s last generation grew up in the city, we come
back to the country many times during the year, seeking
the solace given us by the tranquility of Jají, getting
back to our roots, to this intimacy for our family
celebrations, and of course, taking care of the farm that
is and has been one of our family’s principal means of
support for a century.
At some moment in our lives we decided to restore
the old plantation mansion. Where some coffee storehouses
and stables had formerly been located, we created very
comfortable rooms adapted to the rustic style of the big
house. Where dairy products had been manufactured, we
built the restaurant and kitchen, transforming the entire
house to benefit the inn and continue that tradition of
sharing the finest moments with our visitors and guests,
many of whom have become our friends in one way or another.
The Hacienda is famous because it is filled with antiques,
but for us the most valuable items are our old friends… We
will not treat you as a client or a tourist – our
philosophy is to care for you as if you were a guest in
our country house.
Currently, aware of our historic responsibility, we have
re-dedicated ourselves to the mission of continuing to
offer our installations and tourist services, blending
them with the agricultural and livestock activities that
have continued through five generations into the present.
